EN Sample preparation center
Within the framework of the Project, a Sample Preparation Center (CRSP) of rocks and minerals was created for their further analysis.
(CRSP) includes four technological lines:
Line 1 – large and fine grinding of rock samples, dispersion, work with acids, making thin sections;
Line 2 – mineral separation and the manufacture of preparations (checkers) to study the composition of minerals and isotopic dating;
Line 3 – work with dry samples (weighing, sorting, storage), carbon deposition of checkers and thin sections;
Line 4 – optical and cathodoluminescence microscopy.
The rooms are equipped with all necessary equipment including ventilation systems and maintaining the necessary temperature and humidity conditions.
